Hotel Royal Savoy Lausanne

Dating from 1909, this legendary hotel has added to the lustre of Lausanne’s fame as a refuge for royalty and aristocrats from around the world. For many years, the Spanish royal family made the hotel their home in exile, and Thailand’s king also spent much of his youth in residence here. The Royal Savoy reopened its doors in 2015, after a grandiose 5-year renovation. The hotel now has 196 rooms and suites, a chic brasserie, vast gardens and a 1500 m2 spa.
